Speeding up the adoption and spread of established innovations

Whether you're developing cutting-edge medical devices or innovative digital solutions, our bespoke 8-day programme, spread over 3 months, provides the resources and guidance you need to effectively scale up.

Tailored support for targeted growth

Momentum will be different every time.

We recognise that each company is different and instead of trying to shoe-horn each into a rigid programme, we establish your needs and work with you to get the right expert advice.

Before each programme is created, we’ll work with you to understand your challenges and goals to make a bigger impact in the NHS, and seek out external partners to supplement our expertise.

A comprehensive journey

Each masterclass will include a morning focused on the following key areas for any business:

  • NHS engagement: Learn how to effectively navigate the NHS innovation landscape and build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Value proposition: Craft compelling narratives that highlight the unique benefits of your solution.
  • Growth and spread: Develop strategies to scale your innovation across different healthcare settings.
  • Funding opportunities: Explore avenues for equity and grants to fuel your growth. There will also be a chance to ‘pitch’ to private equity funders.
  • Procurement frameworks: Understand how to ensure your solution is aligned to these frameworks, including to the significant changes coming to public sector procurement in 2025.
  • Legal: Receive one-to-one specialist advice around the legal requirements for your innovation.
  • Social value and sustainability: Increase your business success by being aware of social value and sustainability. They are now a typical, and vital, part of bids, procurement, governance and more.

What innovators and partners say about the Momentum Accelerator

"Now I have much more knowledge of how to approach [the NHS market] and how to get visability, and how to get procured and spread as a company."

- Teresa Matilla-Rodriquez, Optonet

"It was very interesting to hear what other companies were doing. Where they are getting funding from. What is working for them. What challenges they are having with other customers. We work in primary care, and some of the other companies work in secondary care so it was interesting to hear their challenges versus ours."

- Haider Khokhar, GP Specialists

"You know you have got someone to go to for the help you need, when you need it, and really just give yourself the best chance of success in developing your business."

- Richard Parker, Hill Dickinson

"A lot of these businesses will go on to raise capital from VCs so it is really important for them to understand what will an investor will look for in [their] business, and if they know that at an earlier stage they can build and grow in the right way."

- Sim Singh-Landa, Praetura Ventures
