We work with healthcare organisations and businesses to support the spread of all types of innovation within the NHS, from new technologies to ways of working and service improvements. We do this to improve services for patients, enable NHS efficiencies and support economic growth.

Our role in the Integrated Care Systems (ICSs)

For our partners in the Cheshire and Merseyside and Lancashire and South Cumbria ICSs we offer expertise and support in sourcing and adopting innovations; programme management; and facilitation of system and service change. We have a particular focus on areas with high levels of deprivation to increase access to disease prevention and treatments.

We respond to the needs of our local system, understanding their challenges to support the adoption and spread of innovations. By working across the system we have the opportunity to view a challenge from different perspectives.

Our role includes bringing together system leaders and facilitating a collaborative co-designed project, which creates unique opportunities to make the most of what is planned, for example by bringing together expertise across both the clinical and the digital workforce.
