Our strategy, Powering the Future of Health and Care innovation, outlines a clear vision to reduce health inequalities and drive inclusive economic growth by unlocking the full potential of innovation.

As a bridge between the NHS, academia, industry and care systems, it aims to connect regional needs with scalable solutions that improve lives and strengthen local systems.

The strategy focuses on five ambitions:

  • accelerating adoption of proven innovations
  • supporting co-development
  • improving system readiness
  • shaping national impact through regional insight
  • driving growth through advanced technologies

These priorities align with the national Health Innovation Network’s shift towards prevention, community-based care and the use of digital and data to transform health outcomes.
