Health Innovation North West Coast acts as a bridge between the NHS, academia, industry and care systems: our strategy shows how we aim to connect regional needs with scalable solutions that improve lives and strengthen local systems.
The strategy describes five ambitions:
- to accelerate the adoption and spread of proven innovations
- to support the innovation pipeline
- to improve system readiness
- to shape national impact through regional insight
- to mobilise expertise to make better use of technological advances
These priorities align with the Government’s three shifts, from treatment to prevention, from hospital to community-based care, and from analogue to digital to transform health outcomes.
