The Respiratory Transformation Partnership (RTP) is a nationally coordinated programme delivered through all 15 Health Innovation Networks to accelerate improvement in asthma and COPD pathways.
Health Innovation North West Coast leads delivery across Cheshire & Merseyside and Lancashire & South Cumbria, working closely with Integrated Care Boards, provider organisations, respiratory clinical networks and national partners.
The programme supports practical respiratory transformation through pathway redesign, innovation adoption, system learning and collaborative working. RTP aims to improve early and accurate diagnosis, optimise care for people living with asthma and COPD, and reduce unwarranted variation in outcomes.
As part of RTP, Health Innovation North West Coast supports locally led transformation projects, shares learning across systems and works with partners to identify scalable approaches that can improve respiratory care at regional and national level.
