The Business Plan 2022–2023 sets out the Innovation Agency’s priorities for supporting the adoption and spread of evidence‑based innovation across health and care in the North West Coast.

It outlines how national commissions, system‑led programmes and local innovation support come together to improve quality, efficiency and outcomes, while addressing health inequalities and sustainability.

The plan describes activity across patient safety improvement, NHS England and Office for Life Sciences programmes, system transformation, and support for innovators and economic growth. It also highlights the organisation’s underpinning approach — including patient and public involvement, coaching, digital transformation and collaboration with Integrated Care Systems — as the NHS transitions to new Integrated Care Boards.
