Join us for our second North West Coast collaborative event to discuss Reducing Restrictive Practice. We have 12 wards participating in this programme and this event builds upon the learning from the QI coaching sessions.
This event will provide a platform to establish a supportive network for North West Coast Mental Health Trusts, designed to:-
- Provide an update on the progress of the MHSIP
- Provide a forum where Trusts can share learning across organisations
- Explore a Systematic Improvement Approach (using a co-delivery model by AQuA and the Innovation Agency Coaching Academy)
- Explore key enablers for improving safety
- Provide an opportunity to share Reducing Restrictive Practice good practice to colleagues across NWC
- Recap knowledge of PDSA cycles
- Review the next steps for the next steps for QI coaching
- Explore the support that is on offer
- Look at embedding the MHSIP into ‘business as usual’
The event is aimed at those who work within the North West Coast and are actively involved in Reducing Restrictive Practice on mental health wards. In particular we would welcome representation from:-
- Staff members from wards participating in the National MH SIP
- Mental Health Nurses
- Mental Health Clinical Leads
- Patient Safety Specialists
- Mental Health Quality Improvement Leads
