The Pumping Marvellous Foundation, a UK patient-led Heart Failure charity based in Preston, is raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of heart failure through its national BEAT HF campaign.
The acronym BEAT stands for Breathlessness, Exhaustion, Ankle Swelling and Time to Test and aims to help with early detection of heart failure through directing symptomatic people to access a simple diagnostic blood test from their GP surgery.
Pumping Marvellous’s eye-catching campaign posters have appeared in many public spaces across the North West and nationally. In support of the heart failure awareness campaign, Health Innovation North West Coast are helping promote the message across the North West Coast via its stakeholders and local networks.
