New £3.4m health data initiative to address major health challenges
1 May 2020The Innovation Agency is a partner in a £3.4m innovative data initiative in the North of England which will benefit patients nationally and help to address major health challenges.
The initiative is led by the University of Liverpool, with £1.2m investment from Health Data Research (HDR) UK and £2.2m from partner institutions.

A natural physiological response to perceived attack is that our bodies are hijacked by a defence hormone that automatically and unconsciously sends us into fight, flight, freeze or fawn mode. Anxiety and fear have the potential to paralyse us into inaction, as unhelpful and fearful thoughts occupy our minds, leaving us in a state of distraction.

Tech challenge to combat social isolation

Funding boost for health innovations in the North West Coast
