The Digital North accelerator programme is a collaborative enterprise established by the four northern Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs): Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, Health Innovation Manchester, Innovation Agency North West Coast, and North East and North Cumbria AHSN. Building on the success of the two previous programmes in 2019 and 2021, it is keen to showcase digital health technology firms with proven innovations within the healthcare system.
Our two virtual events will be delivered through keynote speakers with expertise in innovation and environmental sustainability and via company showcases. Each company will demonstrate their innovation and discuss the achievements, successes and benefits it can bring. At these event you will hear:
- The benefits of digital innovations already in use, which can be applied to your healthcare setting.
- Current NHS sustainability policy, trends and priorities.
- National and regional perspectives and collaboration.
- How digital innovation is helping the NHS to achieve Net Zero.
Following the event, the four Northern AHSNs will provide introductions and facilitate discussions between yourselves and the companies to learn more about their digital innovations, a summary of which are provided hereafter.
Showcase event 1 - Friday 2 December
Showcase event 2 - Friday 9 December
