Collaborative Masterclass: Powerful Allyship

NHS North West Leadership Academy, Mersey Internal Audit Agency (MIAA), Advancing Quality Alliance (Aqua), North West Employers (NWE) and the North West Association of Directors of Adults Social Care Services (ADASS) work in partnership to bring you a series of collaborative masterclasses. Together they are an influential partnership formed from cross sector organisations in the North West that represent the NHS, health and social care and local government.

In this masterclass the collaborative will share the principles and practices around allyship and showcase the positive impact allyship has on organisational culture and productivity. They will consider the role we all have as allies, alongside practical tools to facilitate leaders to create the conditions for allyship to thrive. It will cover the evidence base that demonstrates the benefits for organisations when they support people to be their authentic selves in the workplace.

You will leave this session with an understanding of:

• The tools that leaders can use to create inclusive organisations and teams
• How investing in a culture of accountability and trust unleashes creativity and innovation
